Weekend Sales Associate, Luxury Outdoor Furniture (Boca Raton, FL)

$16/hour + commission | Part-time, about 29 hours/week

Join a family-owned South Florida business that has been furnishing outdoor living spaces since 1972. We specialize in high-end outdoor furniture, dcor, fabrics, rugs, umbrellas, and accessories for both retail and commercial clients. We're looking for a motivated salesperson to join our Boca Raton showroom, with room to grow for the right person.

Schedule

Friday, Saturday, Monday: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Sunday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Holidays required. Some flexibility for additional days/hours.

What you'll do

• Help customers choose products and create solutions for their
• outdoor living spaces
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and the store teamAnswer phones and assist with estimates, quotes, orders, service, and repair requestsSupport internet sales inquiries and orders
• Negotiate and close sales, and follow through on existing orders
• Keep the showroom clean, organized, and merchandised to store standards

What you'll need

• 2+ years of sales experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to listen and solve problems
• Solid time management and the ability to adapt quickly
• A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfort with computers, the internet, and email
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Proficiency in English

Patio or home furnishings experience preferred, and we'll train the right candidate

Education: High school diploma required; some college or a degree preferred.
