The Transportation Support Analystprovides administrative and operational support for the transportation team. The role supports shipping label creation, carrier claims documentation, data management, customer communication, and general office coordination to help ensure accurate and timely execution of daily transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage shipping labels for transportation activities (Inbound Supplier Shipments, Quality Returns, Premium Freight Requests (PFRs), etc.).
• Submit and track transportation carrier claims and maintain required supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and maintain documents, reports, emails, presentations, and other business communications with guidance from the supervisor.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to track, document, analyze, and report information.
• Review and proofread documents for grammar, spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness.
• Ensure document text and graphics follow corporate and organizational guidelines and standards.
• Acquire, review, input, format, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic tools.
• Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone, research solutions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate resource with supervisor input when needed.
• Participate in process improvement activities, self-audits, team audits, and resulting corrective actions.
• Build a strong internal network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion in all responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as required to support transportation operations and business objectives.

Qualifications

Education

Technical/BS preferred in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent

Experience

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Minimum of two years of logistics/supply chain experience or experience in an analytical role outside of supply chain

Understanding of supply chain terminology

**Additional Manager notes**

This candidate will be responsible for supporting the email process, managing supplier claims, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The role will also involve communicating with carriers and collaborating with internal team members.

This position is expected to extend beyond one year and will follow a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with some overtime as needed. The manager will conduct 30-minute Zoom interviews with selected candidates.
