PWS Employment is recruiting experienced Diesel Technicians for a well-established Des Moines transportation company offering competitive pay, a Monday–Friday schedule, great benefits, a modern fleet, and steady year-round work.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanic who enjoys figuring out what's wrong, fixing it right, and working on a variety of equipment not doing the same repair over and over again.

And you'll be doing it in a clean, modern, well-equipped shop.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You'll maintain and repair a fleet of commercial diesel vehicles, including:

• Diesel engines and related systems
• Brakes and air brake systems
• Suspension and steering
• Electrical diagnostics
• HVAC and air systems
• Preventative maintenance
• DOT inspections
• Troubleshooting and repairs

Experience with buses and motor coaches is especially valuable.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're more interested in what you can actually diagnose and repair than how impressive your resume looks.

You should have:

• Previous diesel mechanic/technician experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Electrical diagnostic ability
• Valid driver's license
• Basic mechanic tools preferred
• CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain one
• Strong work ethic and pride in doing the job right
