Executive Assistant to Chief Strategy Officer

Contract-to-Hire | South Jordan, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Fully Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a Chief Strategy Officer in a fast-paced, financial services-focused environment. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term partnership with a senior executive and become a trusted extension of their office.

This role goes beyond traditional administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, business-minded, and confident working with a senior executive who has a direct communication style and high expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and proactively maintain a complex executive calendar, including scheduling, prioritization, conflicts, and meeting logistics.
  • Anticipate the CSO's needs and proactively address administrative details before they become distractions.
  • Coordinate business travel, itineraries, reservations, and other logistics.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, emails, scheduling communications, and other executive communications.
  • Track action items, deadlines, commitments, and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and leadership to keep priorities moving forward.
  • Help organize and prioritize information so the CSO can quickly understand what requires attention or action.
  • Handle sensitive business, financial, employee, and executive information with a high level of discretion.
  • Assist with presentations, reports, research, special projects, and other executive-level initiatives.
  • Provide occasional personal administrative support as needed.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of Executive Assistant experience specifically supporting a VP, C-Suite executive, or similarly senior leader.
  • Financial services, finance, accounting, tax, investment, or professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex calendars, competing priorities, confidential information, and executive communications.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and work independently with limited direction.
  • Comfortable working with a senior executive who has a direct communication style and high expectations.
  • Confident, emotionally mature, and able to handle challenging conversations without taking feedback personally.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to determine what requires executive attention and what can be handled independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience coordinating executive travel and logistics is a plus.
