Production Supervisor – Manufacturing
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This role is a true floor leaderyou’ll be directly managing teams, solving real-time production issues, and pushing continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise production teams, assign work, and manage daily staffing needs
- Run shift meetings to communicate KPIs, priorities, and production goals
- Coach, train, and hold employees accountable for performance
- Execute production schedules to meet on-time delivery targets
- Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve production issues quickly
- Enforce adherence to work instructions, specs, and inspection standards
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)
- Manage nonconforming material and ensure proper QMS documentation
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and certified product requirements (ATEX, IECEx, UL/FM as applicable)
- Identify and implement improvements in workflow, productivity, and efficiency
- Track labor, output, downtime, and shift KPIs
- Maintain training matrices and workforce skill development
Required:
- High School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- 3–5+ years of production leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor level)
- Experience executing production schedules in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Lean manufacturing tools (5S/6S, Kaizen, takt time, waste reduction)
- ERP/MRP systems and production software
- Understanding of ISO 9001, quality inspections, and nonconformance handling
Nice to Have:
- Experience managing training matrices and certification programs
- Exposure to ATEX / IECEx or certified product manufacturing
