Senior Carpenter

JADE Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Carpenter to build custom escape-room props and fabricated products in our Aberdeen manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on fabrication position for an experienced carpenter who can do more than simply follow a perfect set of plans. Our technical drawings are not always 100% complete, so we need someone who can identify missing details, develop a practical solution, and work with the Production Manager to keep the build moving.

What You'll Do

• Fabricate primarily with plywood/MDF and dimensional lumber
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CNC-produced components
• Solve fit, construction, and assembly problems when drawings are incomplete
• Install basic hardware and prepare completed builds for finishing
• Use saws, nailers, hand tools, and standard shop equipment safely and accurately
• Provide light mentorship to another carpenter
• Produce high-quality, repeatable work while meeting production schedules

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of professional carpentry/fabrication experience
• Strong ability to read drawings and visualize how components fit together
• Proven problem-solving abilitynot someone who stops working when every detail isn't specified
• Experience with plywood/MDF, dimensional lumber, hardware installation, and shop fabrication
• High standards for accuracy, craftsmanship, and finishing quality

This is not a desk or supervisory role. You'll spend nearly all of your time building, troubleshooting, and producing finished products.
