Job Summary
FuzeHR Solutions is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Workers on Day Shift to join our team in High Point, NC. This position is responsible for safely loading furniture and other products onto trucks, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load furniture and other products onto delivery trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Handle, move, lift, and position furniture and other warehouse materials.
- Verify products and quantities against orders before loading.
- Properly stack and secure furniture to prevent damage during transportation.
- Assist with unloading trucks and organizing incoming inventory as needed.
- Move products throughout the warehouse using carts, dollies, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Inspect furniture for visible damage before shipment and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily loading and shipping deadlines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and move furniture and other heavy items.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50+ lbs. as required by the position.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm
- Occasional Mandatory OT on Saturday
