We are seeking an Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair newly manufactured vehicles before shipment or delivery. This position supports post-production quality by identifying and correcting vehicle concerns according to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect newly manufactured vehicles for mechanical, electrical, and functional concerns.
  • Diagnose issues using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer service information.
  • Complete assigned repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
  • Troubleshoot concerns involving engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform required rework and verify that completed repairs meet quality standards.
  • Document inspection findings, repairs, and parts used.
  • Work with production and quality teams to resolve vehicle concerns.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Automotive repair experience or relevant technical training.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ability to read repair instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Experience using automotive hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or vehicle-processing environment.
