Job Description
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations and providedirectiontoproduction employees. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating jobs, monitoring production efficiency, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time. The supervisor will train and coach employees, address performance issues, and work closely with plant leadership and other teams to keep production moving. This position is also responsible for supporting company policies, quality standards, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate production jobs with the design team, plant manager, and dispatch to meet deadlines.
- Provide dailydirection, training, coaching, and performance feedback to manufacturing employees.
- Monitor production, shipping efficiency, quality, and safety to ensure company standards are met.
- Address employee performance and disciplinary issues while assisting with evaluations and hiring as needed.
- Support company policies and values while identifying opportunities to improve production and business results.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of manufacturing and supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
- Ability to make timely decisions, recommend improvements, and maintain confidential information.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with design software.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability toworkthe assigned schedule and occasional additional hours or weekends as needed.
- Occasional business travel may be required.

The base salary range for this position is $24-26 per hourexcluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
