Shipping & Receiving Associate – Tulsa, OK
Pay: $16–$18/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
HireCall is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate for a busy manufacturing facility in the Tulsa area. This is a hands-on position responsible for handling and organizing metal parts, preparing shipments, verifying materials against paperwork, and accurately processing shipping and receiving information.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, or material-handling experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
· Handle metal parts ranging from small components to larger materials
· Organize, stage, and prepare parts and materials for shipment
· Check parts against inventory lists, work orders, and shipping documents
· Verify quantities and part information for accuracy
· Prepare and package materials for outgoing shipments
· Use computers and scanners to process shipping and receiving transactions
· Enter and verify shipping and receiving information accurately
· Use basic measuring tools and equipment as needed
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
· Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
· Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred
· Basic computer and scanner skills
· Ability to read and follow inventory lists, work orders, and shipping paperwork
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday
· Comfortable handling metal parts of various sizes
· Reliable, dependable, and able to work the scheduled hours
· Must pass a drug screening
· Must pass a background check and meet company background requirements
