School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Old Sturbridge Academy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time onsite contract position in Massachusetts for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity will support K–12 students across two school locations in Sturbridge and Worcester.

The district has multiple caseload needs and will work to determine the most appropriate assignment based on the selected SLP’s experience and background. This is an ASAP opening, and the school is looking to move quickly with qualified candidates.

:

· Provide speech and language therapy services to K–12 students
· Evaluate students and identify speech, language, and communication needs
· Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals
· Participate in the IEP process and collaborate with special education teams
· Provide individual and group-based therapy services as appropriate
· Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
· Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff
· Support students across a range of speech, language, articulation, and communication needs
· Follow school, district, and Massachusetts guidelines for speech-language services

:

· Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
· Experience working with K–12 students preferred
· Candidates should be comfortable managing a school-based caseload and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
· Experience with evaluations, IEPs, and progress monitoring is preferred

· Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field required
· Must meet all Massachusetts requirements to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
· Must successfully complete required background and employment requirements
