This full-time contract position, available through the end of the first semester, focuses on providing expert speech and language services to students in grades 6 through 12.

In this role, your expertise will support the unique communication needs of adolescents, helping them develop essential skills for academic and personal growth. You’ll enjoy a competitive hourly pay range from $45 to $55 or more per hour, reflecting your valuable skills and commitment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Washington state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with adolescent populations in an educational setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for students in grades 6-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and complete relevant documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Offer staff and parent support on communication strategies and classroom accommodations
