Prostar Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for a growing company in Vernon Hills, IL. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and helping keep operations running efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
What You'll Do
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
- Pull inventory and verify materials for delivery
- Load and unload trucks accurately and safely
- Operate warehouse equipment while following safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Assist customers and contractors professionally
- Utilize basic computer systems and warehouse technology
- Support daily warehouse operations as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Delivery driving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of door and hardware products is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Lift 25-50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifting over 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around forklifts, machinery, and warehouse equipment
