Servicing Receptionist to serve as a welcoming first point of contact for our customers and support the day-to-day operations of the office.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, takes ownership of responsibilities, and enjoys helping others. This position is a great fit for someone who thrives in a team environment and wants the opportunity to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in person and over the phone and connect them with the appropriate team member.
- Manage appointment scheduling, incoming calls, and general office communications.
- Assist customers with routine service needs and incoming inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and complete customer records and documentation.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their needs and requests are completed.
- Identify opportunities during customer conversations where additional insurance products or services may be beneficial.
- Support the service and sales teams through administrative tasks, follow-up, and special projects.
- Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment.
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding customer needs, outstanding items, and necessary follow-up.
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable engaging customers in conversations about insurance needs and opportunities.
- Willingness to learn, receive coaching, and develop professionally.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Dependable, accountable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
