Speech-Language Pathologist Needed

A great school district in the Mount Pleasant, Texas area is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full 2026–2027 school year. The district is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and will consider scheduling based on availability and district needs.

This is a K–12 school-based opportunity supporting students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team.

:

· Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for K–12 students.

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

· Provide individual, group, and consultative speech-language services as appropriate.

· Support students with articulation, language, fluency, communication, and related needs.

· Develop and monitor appropriate IEP goals.

· Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.

· Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.

· Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school-based professionals.

· Previous school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.

· Experience working with K–12 students is preferred.

· Candidates should be comfortable supporting students with a variety of communication needs.

· Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License required.

· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

· Must meet all state and school district requirements for SLP practice.
