What You'll Bring:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY or CCC accepted)
- Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 populations is highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills to conduct comprehensive speech and language testing
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs and document progress efficiently
- Flexibility and professionalism in managing caseloads and participating in conferences
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students across elementary, middle, and high school grades
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, complete thorough testing, and prepare detailed reports
- Participate in student conferences and collaborate closely with general educators, special education teams, and families
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor ongoing progress
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment that empowers every student to reach their goals
This position offers an hourly rate starting at $43, with additional consideration for relevant experience. This role is a contract assignment, with the potential for renewal if you’re an excellent fit for the team and students.
