Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Robot Weld Operator/Technician for a growing manufacturing operation in Tea, SD. This position combines hands-on welding and fabrication experience with the operation of robotic welding equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate robotic welding equipment
- Fit, tack, and prepare steel components for welding
- Monitor robotic welding processes and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Grind, clean, and repair welds as needed
- Troubleshoot welding equipment and production issues
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Robotic welding experience preferred
- Strong welding and fabrication knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on weld quality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
