Midsize, full-service law firm is seeking a Legal Support/HR Manager to join their team in Portland, Oregon. This established firm serves businesses, government entities, and individuals across a broad range of legal matters and is seeking a hands-on operations leader to oversee daily office functions, staff management, human resources, and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise legal assistants, paralegals, accounting staff, and office support personnel
  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
  • Oversee facilities, vendors, office operations, and workplace communications
  • Coordinate firm events, sponsorships, CLE programs, and website updates
  • Assist with budgeting, operational improvements, and policy implementation
  • Provide backup support for billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $125,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% employer-paid premiums; HSA plan with employer-paid premiums; paid time off; 10 sick days; paid parking; disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) with safe harbor contribution and profit sharing.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of office management, HR, or law firm administration experience
  • Prior supervisory experience, ideally in law firm setting
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
