As a Production Worker at our Nunda, NY facility, you’ll help keep nut butter products moving safely and accurately through the line. This role exists to support consistent quality, food safety, and on-time production.
Key responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting conveyors, cappers, labelers, and metal detectors; completing weight/torque checks; printing and verifying labels using Easy Label and Master Scheduler; following GMP requirements and HACCP-based food safety practices; completing required production and sanitation documentation; and assisting with line changeovers, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Food manufacturing experience or willingness to learn; GMP compliance required
- HACCP certification and Siliker/Food Safety certificate
- Forklift operator certification
- Basic math (weights, measures, ratios)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and clear team communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Pay: $17.25–$20/hour, full-time (40 hours/week with occasional overtime). Apply to be considered.

A Typical ShiftYou’ll start by checking the day’s schedule and confirming the correct materials and labels are staged. As the line runs, you’ll rotate between monitoring flow, verifying label/date accuracy, and recording checks so everything stays within spec. When something driftslike a cap torque or label placementyou’ll pause, communicate, and make a quick adjustment to get back on track. Between runs, you’ll help with changeovers, keep your area orderly, and complete end-of-shift cleanup and paperwork so the next shift can start smoothly.
