Seeking a friendly, personable individual to represent a private optometry practice and become a part of our team. Must provide exceptional customer service. Must be detail oriented and willing to learn. Must be able to multi task. Must be willing to be cross-trained in all aspects of the practice and be a team player. Primary duties will be to aide the optometrist in testing and patient education. Job tasks include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, visual acuities, taking eye measurements, visual field testing, fundus photography, contact lens training, and working with insurance benefits.
Experience in an eyecare office is preferred. Preference given to applicants who have skill and experience with special testing in an optical setting. There is great potential to grow for a person willing to show initiative to learn new skills and prepare yourself for your career.
This position is Full time.
Office Hours are as follows: Monday 1pm - 7pm; Tues - Friday 8am - 5:30pm; one Sat per months 8:30am to 1pm. Pay is determined by your skills.
