In this onsite, full-time opportunity near Denver, you'll have the chance to inspire a diverse group of 6th–8th grade students as their middle school Science Teacher. This contract position provides a stable assignment through late May 2027, giving you the ideal environment to build strong relationships both in the classroom and throughout the school community.

You'll develop and implement engaging, standards-based science lessons, fostering critical thinking and curiosity. By creating an inclusive, supportive classroom, you’ll help every student thrive academically and socially, while collaborating with fellow educators and staff to enrich the overall learning experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active CDE Teacher Certificate required (Candidates without this certificate or whose certification is pending cannot be considered)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Science field
  • Middle school or comparable teaching experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of next-generation science standards and hands-on instructional methods
  • Flexibility and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver dynamic science instruction for 6th–8th grade students
  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet diverse learning needs and IEP/504 accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
  • Cultivate an inclusive, respectful classroom culture
  • Engage in school-wide events, collaborate across grade-level teams, and contribute to curriculum development
