We are looking for a detail-oriented PART TIME Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a contract position in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role serves as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and service providers, requiring sound judgment, strong organization, and a calm, service-focused approach. The ideal candidate can manage incoming questions, coordinate building access, and maintain an orderly flow of mail, packages, and visitor support throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk and provide prompt, courteous assistance with a wide range of inquiries.

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, including items intended for multiple tenants or other locations.

• Accept rent payments and other delivered items from tenants and ensure they are directed appropriately.

• Guide delivery personnel and visitors to the correct destination while helping maintain an efficient lobby experience.

• Coordinate access for maintenance providers and other vendors by contacting property management or on-site staff for support with entry and keys.

• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system, connecting visitors and callers with the appropriate team members.

• Respond effectively to sensitive or challenging front desk situations, using tact and composure when interacting with upset individuals.

• Share available community or property-related resources with tenants and keep informational materials organized and up to date.

• Maintain accurate front desk records and stay organized while managing multiple requests in a fast-paced commercial property environment.

• This role is 3 days on-site.

• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle in-person inquiries with professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with experience sorting mail, tracking packages, and managing front desk workflows.
• Comfortable interacting with vendors, tenants, and staff in a commercial property or similar business setting.
• Proven customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and effective during difficult interactions.
• Clear communication skills and the judgment to redirect requests to the appropriate contacts.
• Ability to handle varied responsibilities throughout the day while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
