1st shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM
Pay: $37-42/hour
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate lathes, mills-hortizontal
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specs
- Select proper tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
- Perform precision measurements (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Inspect finished parts to ensure tight tolerance compliance
- Adjust machine settings during production to optimize performance
- Troubleshoot machining issues (tool wear, dimensions, machine errors)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure safe operation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
What You Bring
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- CNC programming or setup experience
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Industry certification (NIMS or similar)
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-spec manufacturing
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting (noise, dust, machinery)
- Standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- PPE required
