Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing company in Watertown, WI that is hiring a Process Engineer. This is a Permanent position with our client.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in the manufacturing industry; product and/or tooling development for metal manufacturingexperience preferred.
- Experience in automotive industry is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge ofproduct development processes.
- Working knowledge of Lean techniques.
- Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office software package; specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software; preferably AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the manufacturing departments to develop manufacturing prints, bill of materials, routings and establishes controls for ensuring quality product.
- Creates 2D and/or D3 models of the tooling used in the manufacturing of products.
- Supports capacity analysis for new and existing product.
- Using Lean techniques, supports continuous improvement projects at the plant to reduce waste and/or improve manufacturing performance.
- Works alongside Production to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Supports Quality in root cause analysis of customer and internal issues.
- Manages updates to engineering prints, standards or processes.
