Pharmacist - Stuart, Florida

A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, starting ASAP. This contract opportunity offers a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing for an excellent work-life balance during off days.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Managing pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilizing Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Active Florida pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital inpatient setting, preferably with community hospital exposure
• Willingness and availability to work night shifts
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
