We are seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to support production of custom garments, corporate apparel, monogramming, and promotional products using single-head embroidery machines. This role works independently, reports to a production supervisor, and partners with design and finishing teams to deliver quality embroidered products efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate single-head embroidery machines.
- Load embroidery designs and manage design files.
- Prepare hoops and position garments accurately.
- Manage thread, including trimming and tension adjustment.
- Inspect finished work for quality and correct defects.
- Track production and maintain an organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Coordinate with design and finishing teams while reporting to the production supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in embroidery machine operation.
- Experience with commercial embroidery machines and garment hooping.
- Knowledge of thread tension adjustment and design file management.
- Quality control and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Great customer service skills and the ability to work as a team player.
- Willingness to learn and execute production processes.
