Manufacturing Shop Operations Associate

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Your day in the shop

You clock in, join a quick huddle with seasoned operators, and then rotate through key production areas to keep work flowing. Early in the shift you might stage raw material at the laser, then pull finished parts from the cut table. As jobs move, you’ll switch to finishing workdeburring, sanding, and grindingbefore helping with quality checks and moving parts to their next station. Later in the night, you could support brake press setups, step into welding and spot-weld support, install hardware and inserts, or assist with wash and etch. Near the end of the shift, you’ll help with paint prep and powder coating, then package and assist with light assembly so everything’s ready for the next run.

Schedules
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)
  • 3rd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)

Enjoy consistent hours and three-day weekends every week.

What you’ll handle
  • Load raw stock at laser equipment and unload finished laser-cut parts
  • Deburr, sand, and grind metal components to spec
  • Support in-process quality checks and move parts as directed
  • Assist with brake press operations
  • Provide backup in welding and spot-welding areas
  • Install hardware and inserts in finished pieces
  • Load parts and assist with wash and etch processes
  • Help with paint prep and powder coating
  • Package products and assist with assembly tasks
  • Tackle general shop labor and other assigned duties
What you bring
  • Manufacturing background is helpful, but not required
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
