Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all calculations and drawings are accurate and code compliant. You will be responsible for designing commercial buildings using AutoCAD and Revit, developing design loads, and completing structural analyses. A key part of your role will be to provide complete calculation packages for review and stamping, communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules and issues, and conduct site visits as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including project setup and coordination with teams and clients.
  • Design commercial buildings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Develop design loads and conduct structural analyses.
  • Provide comprehensive calculation packages for review and stamping.
  • Communicate schedules, questions, and issues effectively with clients.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee project progress.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong background in structural engineering, structural design, and structural analysis.
  • Experience with Mathcad.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with RISA 3D or similar software.
  • 3+ years of experience in structural design of commercial buildings.
  • Progress towards or possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Commitment to obtaining certifications and continuing education credits.
  • Willingness to cross-train and participate in committees such as codes and building materials.
  • Ambition to move into a team leader role within a few years.
Work Environment

The company offers a flexible culture with adjustable work hours, allowing for personalized schedules with supervisor notification for hours outside of 9 AM to 3 PM. Up to three days of remote work are possible after the training period. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Luxemburg, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
