Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility for practice in Indiana
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT
- Background providing therapy in home health, teletherapy, or broader healthcare settings
- Familiarity with educational documentation and IEP participation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and caregivers
- Flexibility working with diverse caseloads and adapting to changing needs
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students on your assigned caseload
- Conduct ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and document services as required
- Utilize virtual or in-person methods as needed to ensure consistent care
- Support the school community by providing consultation to teachers and caregivers
- Assist in transition planning for students returning from or moving between therapy services
