Personal Care Aide - driving required

Starting pay: $13 per hour

Service area: 324 Main Ave S, Magee, MS, 39111 and surrounding communities

Help at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Aides to provide in-home support and transportation for clients. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and mileage reimbursement for all client-related driving. A valid driver’s license, active auto insurance in your name, and access to a safe, reliable vehicle are required.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Aide, you will work one-on-one with clients to support daily activities and help them remain independent in their homes and communities. Along with assisting with personal care and light housekeeping, you will safely transport clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and social outings.

Qualifications

• Completion of an eighth-grade education or higher.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Active auto insurance in your name.
• Access to a safe, reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Comfort transporting clients with varying mobility needs.
• Ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed.
• Commitment to completing organizational and state-required training.

Experience

No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities, including dressing and grooming.
• Assist with meals and daily routines.
• Provide light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning.
• Provide safe, timely transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and social outings.
• Assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes client independence.
