The Shift Manager reports to the General Manager and oversees daily shift operations, team performance, customer service, and operational procedures. This role offers a growth path toward Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage shift schedules.
- Supervise team members and delegate tasks effectively.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Handle cash accurately and complete inventory checks.
- Maintain safety compliance throughout each shift.
- Coach team members to support performance and development.
- Order products as needed to support operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in shift management.
- Experience with staff scheduling, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Team leadership and problem-solving abilities.
