Defendclientsinconstructiondefectlitigationmatters.
Responsibilities
- Managecasesthroughallphasesoflitigation,includingpleadings,discovery,depositions,motionpractice,mediation,andtrialpreparation.
- Takeanddefenddepositionsofparties,witnesses,andexperts.
- Draftandarguemotions,includingdispositiveandevidentiarymotions.
- Workcloselywithclients,insurers,andseniorattorneystodevelopcasestrategyandmanagelitigationbudgets.
- Prepareforandparticipateinmediation,arbitration,and,whenappropriate,trial.
Qualifications
- J.D.fromanaccreditedlawschoolandadmissiontotheGeorgiaBar.
- 2–4yearsoflitigationexperience,ideallyininsurancedefense,personalinjury,orgeneralliability.
- Strongdeposition,writing,andcasemanagementskills.
