Title: HVAC R Mobile Technician
Pay Rate: $23-24/HR on W2
Hours:M-F 9am - 5pm possible OT
Location: Lexington, KY

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
2 hr radius in and around Lexington, KY, majority of time will be spent inside Lexington
Candidate will be issued a CBRE van and tools for the work

Team Overview:
Candidate will be working independently

Resource's typical working day:
Changing filters
Maintaining units
Surveys
Chasing hot and cold units
Communicating with bank staff and property managers
Completing all PM's
Weekly and Quarterly PM's
Visual inspections while on site
Basic plumbing
Basic electrical
Carpentry
Painting/patching

Licenses/Certifications:
CFC (EPA) Certification - Required
Certification in any of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair is a plus.

Must Have Skills:
Comfortable working on a rooftop unit

Nice to have skills:
Commercial HVAC experience

Soft Skills:
Highly professional attitude
Good customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Years of Experience:
1-2 years

Education
h.s. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus

Software skills:
Candidate will be issued a tablet and iPhone

Interview Process:1st round phone screen
2nd round virtual (Teams)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mobile Building Engineer, this job will support several facilities in the area that requires expertise to perform repairs and maintain several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Must be comfortable with extensive everyday travel.
Must live within designated radius of the job site to reliably work schedule/shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Oversee maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
