Facility Overview

Join a 267-bed acute care hospital serving the Fort Walton Beach and surrounding communities. The facility offers advanced services including an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery, emergency services, pediatric emergency care, and critical care services.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• 1+ year of acute care ICU experience preferred; ED or Surgical Floor experience may also be considered.

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment.

• TNCC certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered ICU care in accordance with nursing standards and scope of practice.

• Perform nursing procedures, patient monitoring, and functions ordered by medical providers.

• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, medications, treatment plans, side effects, and follow-up care.

• Advocate for patients and families while promoting safe, compassionate, holistic care.

• Participate in evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Support recovery and positive clinical outcomes through effective coordination of care.

Compensation & Differentials

• Base Pay: $27.72 – $39.60/hour.

• 10 Years of Experience: Up to $36.30/hour.

• 15+ Years of Experience: Up to $39.60/hour.

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hour.

• Weekend Differential: None.
