Business Development Representative

Our client is an established 3pl logistics asset-based brokerage with a growing sales team.

*Applicants must have previous experience in B2B Sales - freight brokerage experience not required.*

Location:Pittsburgh, PA - Onsite Schedule - In office daily 5 days per week

Compensation: $50k - $70k base + commission

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and win new shipper accounts with MM shipper companies
• Quote, price, and book your own freight
• Build and schedule loads from pickup to delivery
• Track shipments and solve problems as they come up
• Grow and retain existing customers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in B2B Customer Sales, ideally with Enterprise level or Fortune 500 companies
• Track record of winning and growing your own book of business
• Self-motivated to win and high level of accountability to succeed remotely
• Strong negotiation skills, follow up skills, and persistent new business development outreach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong verbal and written communications skills

*Our clients do not expect candidates to transition a book of business; however, 5+ years of previous experience in B2B Customer Sales role building an organic book of business are required.*
