About the Role: Gymboree Play & Music in Carmel, IN is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Part-Time Sales
Associate/Preschool Assistant to join our team! This is a unique dual role where you'll combine your passion for early childhood development with your knack for connecting families to programs they'll love. If you enjoy working with young children and thrive in a fun, energetic environment, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will start as a sales associate and preschool assistant and move into full teacher training within a few months when ready!
Responsibilities:- Assist in facilitating Gymboree Play & Music classes for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Engage with parents and caregivers to promote enrollment in classes and programs
- Support lead instructors in delivering age-appropriate activities focused on play-based learning
- Greet and check in families, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience
- Handle sales transactions, memberships, and class registrations at the front desk
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized play and classroom environment
- Build lasting relationships with families to encourage retention and referrals
Requirements:- No direct prior experience is necessary other than a genuine love of children and a clean background check
- Strong customer service and sales skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
- Energetic, patient, and passionate about early childhood development
- Ability to multitask between classroom assistance and front desk/sales responsibilities
- Availability on weekends and some weekday mornings preferred
