SUMMARY

Our Catering and Event Servers are the face of Pinx Catering at every event, delivering an elevated and polished guest experience from the first moment of setup through the final farewell. Servers combine meticulous behind-the-scenes preparation with warm, attentive, professional on-site service to ensure every client and guest receives our highest standard of hospitality and satisfaction, in line with Pinx Catering's commitment to continually elevate the client experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Preparation & Logistics

- Responsible for event preparation, set up, and closing

- Transport food and supplies to the venue

- Set up for food service with accuracy and attention to detail

- Return to our offices to put all equipment away, restock supplies, and report any issues or shortages

- Adhere to safety and food quality regulations at all times

Elevated On-Site Guest Experience

- Serve clients and guests food and beverages in a positive, professional, and friendly manner that reflects Pinx Catering's elevated service standards

- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations before being asked

- Present a professional appearance and manner at all times, representing the Pinx Catering brand with polish and pride

- Partner with Event Managers on-site during drop-off, limited-service, and full-service events to deliver seamless, detail-oriented execution

- Maintain composure and grace in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

- Communicate proactively with Event Managers and teammates to resolve issues quickly and discreetly, without disrupting the guest experience

- Exercise sound judgment and discretion when working around clients, guests, and high-profile events

Training, Onboarding & Development

- Successfully complete Pinx Catering's 2-Week New Hire Onboarding Protocol, including back-of-house preparation training and hands-on, on-site training paired with an Event Manager

- Participate in the 30/60/90-Day Performance Assessment process and apply feedback to continuously elevate service delivery

- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)

- 1+ year of hospitality-related experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Able to take direction and apply feedback in real time

- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

- Flexible schedule

- Reliable transportation

- Successful completion of Pinx Catering's New Hire Onboarding Protocol within the first two weeks of employment
