Manual Machinist

Progressive Machining is seeking a full-time machinist. The machinistwillsetup andoperate manual lathes and mills for various jobs. CNC experience is a plus.

•Setup machinery for both large and small parts

•Identify material to be cut

•Accurately read a tape measure and customer's drawings

•Lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)

•Use grinder to grind edges of material

•Inspect cut products ensuring tolerances are met

•Maintainequipment

•Keep work area clean

•Work efficiently and safely to ensure jobs are completed meeting deadlines

•Assist co-workers when needed and be a team player

•Perform otherreasonabletasks when necessary as requested by supervisors

•The responsibilities are not limited to this list

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am

• Overtime available
