Automation Engineer (Robotics)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in industrial robotics, PLC integration, and manufacturing automation systems to support advanced manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead the development, integration, standardization, and deployment of robotic solutions that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency across manufacturing operations.

This role will collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, production teams, suppliers, and system integrators to deliver scalable automation solutions while supporting Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robotic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial robots.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing automation and controls systems.
• Experience integrating robots with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, controls, mechanical, and automation documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
