Senior Litigation Attorney with Construction Law Background

We are looking for a Senior Litigation Attorney with 9+ years of defense litigation experience to join a growing, collegial firm and independently manage complex construction law and Labor Law cases. You'll be someone with enough gray hairs to handle million-dollar cases without supervisiona seasoned litigator ready for a long-term home at a firm that treats its people exceptionally well.

What will you be doing?

• Managing a full caseload of construction litigation and NY Labor Law cases from inception through resolution

• Conducting and defending depositions as core daily work

• Trying cases and representing clients in court, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Collaborating with partners on trial prep, legal strategy, and client communication

• Mentoring junior attorneys as the firm invests in younger talent

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of defense litigation experience (7+ considered with strong construction law background)

• Demonstrated New York Labor Law / construction site accident litigation experience absolute must-have

• Trial experience and ability to independently handle high-value cases

• Salary expectations aligned with Long Island market ($150K–$195K base), not Manhattan pay scales
