Immediate opening for a Production Planner in Brea, CA who possesses:

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating, scheduling, and planning within a manufacturing environment
  • PCBA manufacturing experience required
  • Experience working with electromechanical assemblies
  • IPC-A-610 exposure or certification preferred
  • J-STD-001 certification preferred
  • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment such as AS9100, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001 preferred

FULL DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a Production Planner to support planning, scheduling, coordination, and material flow within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire role will help ensure materials and products move efficiently throughout the PCBA manufacturing process while supporting on-time customer deliveries and production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing planning and scheduling experience, familiarity with PCBA or electromechanical production, and the ability to coordinate effectively across Production, Supply Chain, and related teams.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and scheduling production activities to support customer delivery requirements
  • Coordinating and monitoring the flow of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process
  • Supporting PCBA and electromechanical manufacturing operations
  • Reviewing production requirements and helping establish priorities and schedules
  • Monitoring work-in-process and production status
  • Identifying potential material, scheduling, or production constraints
  • Communicating production priorities and schedule changes to appropriate teams
  • Coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and other internal departments
  • Supporting material availability and production readiness
  • Tracking manufacturing schedules and delivery requirements
  • Helping ensure customer orders are completed according to established timelines
  • Reviewing production data and identifying delays or issues that could affect delivery
  • Supporting planning activities within ERP or MRP systems
  • Maintaining accurate production planning and scheduling information
  • Supporting purchasing and planning activities as needed
  • Helping resolve production and material-flow issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling, workflow, and operational efficiency
  • Maintaining clear communication regarding production status and priorities
  • Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, coordination, or related manufacturing experience required
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • PCBA experience required
  • Experience with electromechanical assemblies preferred
  • Entry-level buying or purchasing experience a plus
  • Experience working with ERP or MRP systems preferred
  • IPC-A-610 exposure or certification preferred
  • J-STD-001 certification preferred
  • Experience within an AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or similar regulated manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong organizational and planning skills required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing production requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and other departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment drug and background screening
  • Ability to work onsite in Brea, CA
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while reviewing production schedules, material requirements, ERP/MRP data, reports, and manufacturing documentation
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, documentation, and standard office tasks
  • Ability to review production schedules, work orders, inventory information, spreadsheets, and computer screens for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout manufacturing and office areas as needed
  • Ability to work around PCBA, electromechanical assemblies, production equipment, and normal manufacturing activity
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow all applicable manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple production priorities

Salary Range: $25 to $27/hour
