Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read andinterpretblueprints, travelers, and workinstructions, including GD&T.
Program,set up, andoperateCNCmillingmachines.
Identifyprocess issues and suggest continuous improvement opportunities.
Tend to one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial robots to machine work pieces tospecificationonproductionbasis.
Loadwork piece manually or using hoist; secure work piece inworkholdingdeviceor load automatic feeding device.
Start and monitor machining operations, makingoffsetsand adjustments as needed.
Inspect and measure machined work pieces - using instruments such asopticalcomparator, fixed gauges,calipers,andmicrometer -to verify conformance to specifications.
Mayperformbasic deburring, sanding, filing, orfinishing ofmachinedparts.
Maycleanmachinedcomponentsusing approved cleaning or degreasing methods.
Attentionto detail and commitment to quality.
Follow all safety policies andrequiredPPE guidelines.
Qualifications:
+3 yearsminimumCNC machining experience or Apprenticeship or College certificate of completion
Basic computer skills such as e-mailing,opening,andprintingdocumentsand navigating windows/internetexplorer.
Working knowledge ofCNCMillGcodeandMcodeprogramming.
Physical Demands:
Ability tolift upto 35 pounds by self insafemanner.
We have two positions available: 1 Day Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm and 1 Swing Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm (first 60 days will be on day shift training).
