Role: FP&A Manager
Location: Sommerville, MA (4 days a week onsite)
Contract - hire (90 day contract)
Pay: $60/hr - $70/hr
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Summary
A PE-backed waste management company approaching $500M in revenue is seeking an FP&A Manager to take ownership of day-to-day financial planning and analysis. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this is an individual contributor role with significant scope responsible for building out FP&A processes, supporting a rapidly growing multi-entity business, and providing guidance to junior analysts. Long-term, this person is expected to build and lead a team beneath them.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own the company's end-to-end forecasting and budgeting processes
- Develop and enhance business unit level financial models and planning cadences
- Identify gaps in current FP&A processes and implement structure and depth where needed
- Provide variance analysis and financial insight to support leadership decision-making
Business Partnering
- Serve as the primary FP&A point of contact for internal operational stakeholders
- Translate financial data into actionable insight for non-finance business partners
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across a high-growth, acquisition-active organization
Reporting & Analytics
- Own and manage Power BI reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment
- Manage and analyze large datasets to support financial reporting and planning
- Develop consistent, scalable reporting infrastructure for leadership and the VP of Finance
M&A Support
- Support financial integration of newly acquired businesses
- Assist with financial modeling and analysis tied to ongoing acquisition activity
- Help bring acquired entities operating outside Oracle into the company's reporting framework
Team Leadership
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to junior analysts
- Establish processes, standards, and reporting cadences as the FP&A function continues to scale
Qualifications
Required
- FP&A Manager-level experience with demonstrated strength in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Prior experience in a PE-owned environment
- Strong business partnering skills with operational teams
- Advanced Power BI skills with the ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets
- Oracle experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Preferred
- M&A or financial integration experience
- Background in waste management, field services, or a similarly complex operational environment
- Experience building FP&A processes in a high-growth or multi-entity organization
