Role snapshot
- Install EMT and rigid conduit to spec
- Pull, dress, and terminate control and power wiring
- Terminate motors; set up and verify VFDs
- Mount and align sensors and photo eyes
- Read and work from electrical drawings/schematics
Conveyor background is helpful, not mandatory.
Where you’ll work
- Distribution and fulfillment centers for FedEx, Amazon, UPS
- Additional material handling facilities throughout the U.S.
Must-have capabilities
- Industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency in electrical installation and troubleshooting
- Electrical panel installation expertise
- Comfort reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Control wiring, motor terminations, and device setup (VFDs, sensors, photo eyes)
Pay, travel, and stability
- $38–$70/hr DOE + abundant overtime
- $150+/day per diem
- Flights, mileage, hotels, and travel costs covered
- Fly home every 3–4 weeks
- Year-round, steady employment no layoff shuffle
