Required Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license Required
- Current New York State RN registration
- Ability to meet OMH credentialing and background-check requirements
- Fingerprint background check Required
- SEL, SCR, SAM, Medicare, and Medicaid checks Required
- MMR vaccination Required
- Varicella vaccination Required
- Influenza vaccination Required
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and compassionate nursing care in a behavioral health setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Monitor patients for changes in physical and behavioral condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral or medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, providers, behavioral health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support therapeutic and patient-centered care practices
- Follow facility policies, OMH standards, infection prevention, and patient-safety requirements
- Participate in required OMH orientation and training
- Maintain compliance with licensing, vaccinations, background checks, and regulatory requirements
