Manufacturing Laborer

This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks in a metal manufacturing environment, supporting welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers by preparing parts, handling materials, and using hand and power tools safely and accurately.

• Prepare metal parts and components for welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers according to specifications.
• Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials, parts, and finished products.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support metal fabrication and production activities.
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure correct dimensions and quality.
• Support general manufacturing production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with metal materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.
• Collaborate with team members and respond to direction from supervisors to complete daily assignments.

• Ability to perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately for measuring materials and parts.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools used in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
• Proficiency with basic power tools used in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
• Experience with material handling, including loading and unloading materials and products.
• Comfort working in a production environment with metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely around tools, equipment, and materials.

• Any education related to the manufacturing industry is a bonus.
• Any certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus.
• Overhead crane experience is a bonus.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing production is beneficial.

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled metal manufacturing facility. You will work around metal fabrication processes, material handling equipment, and hand and power tools. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MO.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Springfield,MO.
