Responsibilities:

Responsible for the build and inspection process for the mechanical assemblies and systems integration across the product lines

Develop, qualify, and refi ne manufacturing processes and subsequent work instructions to meet all design and business requirements, including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery

Collaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve both internal and customer production challenges

Work with product engineering team to evaluate designs for manufacturability and implementation in a rapidly evolving production environment

Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement root cause corrective actions

Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet our growing production demand

Develop and refi ne floor layouts, capacity models, and product fl ow analysis to ensure on-time product delivery to our customers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial engineering

5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with the build, assembly, or integration of mixed electro-mechanical assemblies

Knowledge of mechanical / hardware systems manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment including welding, fastening, drilling, bonding and inspection verifications.

Mechanical component and/or tooling design and analysis experience using 3D CAD software

Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA)

Experience transition complex products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment

Experience writing work instructions and procedures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $180000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
