Mobile Hydraulics Mechanic About the Opportunity
- Hands-on role repairing and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components for a local hydraulic company
- Work on equipment such as boom trucks, dump trucks, and other hydraulically powered machinery
- Bench testing using a computer-based test stand and related diagnostic equipment
- Component teardown, inspection, and reassembly: pumps, motors, valves, and high-pressure tools
Position Snapshot
- Type: Full Time Evaluation Hire Position
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, DOE
Core Duties
- Diagnose hydraulic failures on trucks and mobile equipment; perform repairs efficiently and safely
- Use measuring tools and machinery to verify tolerances and component condition
- Operate a computer-based test stand to validate performance and confirm fixes
- Work on and under vehicles/equipment as needed to access components
What You’ll Bring

Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb, and lie down during tasks
