Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple manufacturing projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, design, production, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications and quality standards.
The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of process treatment equipment, pressure vessels, process piping, and related components serving industries including municipal water/wastewater, nuclear, oil & gas, and other industrial and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and third parties for successful project execution.
Review and execute projects according to project plans, specifications, and customer requirements.
Develop, organize, and obtain approvals for product submittals.
Manage project scope, schedules, costs, and changes.
Monitor project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Coordinate material ordering based on plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
Manage project budgets and make adjustments based on financial analysis.
Develop detailed project plans and track progress.
Prepare spreadsheets, diagrams, process maps, and other project documentation.
Make minor corrections to CAD models and Bills of Material.
Participate in QA/QC activities.
Assist with training Project Managers and Estimators.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field such as Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
10+ years of Project Management experience.
Strong knowledge of:
ASME B31.1
ASME B31.3
ASME Section VIII, Division I
ASTM Section IX
Strong understanding of 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and machine design.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
