WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As our Technical Product Owner, you'll act as the strategic connection between business objectives and technical execution. You'll own the product vision and roadmap for AllianceHCM's core platform capabilities while evaluating new opportunities, assessing technical feasibility, and identifying critical dependencies before development begins. Working closely with Engineering leadership and Staff Engineers, you'll help prioritize infrastructure improvements, scalability initiatives, and modernization efforts while ensuring technical debt is thoughtfully managed. You'll transform complex business challenges into detailed technical specifications, manage engineering backlogs, and ensure development teams have everything needed to execute effectively. In doing so, you'll play a critical role in building innovative solutions that support the company's continued growth and success.

What You'll Need:

• Prior hands-on experience in a technical role such as software engineering, data analysis, systems architecture, or a similar technical discipline
• Ability to translate business requirements into highly detailed technical specifications and user stories
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
• Experience prioritizing work and managing competing initiatives
• Previous experience in SaaS, fintech, payroll technology, or Human Capital Management (HCM) environments (preferred)
